Cookie Policy

How we use
cookies.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you have already seen a message or how you use the site. Some are removed when you close your browser; others stay for a set period.

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies londonfeedingtherapy.com uses, why, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. How we use cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. We use them for three things:

  • Essential functionality. Making the site work and keeping it secure, including protecting our contact form from spam.
  • Analytics. Understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this, and only with your consent.
  • Embedded content. Where a page includes content hosted elsewhere, such as a video or a booking calendar, that provider may set its own cookies.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell or share cookie data for marketing purposes.

3. The cookies we set

3.1 Essential

These are needed for the site to work and do not require your consent.

  • _GRECAPTCHA (Google reCAPTCHA). Set when a page with our contact form loads. It helps Google tell genuine visitors from automated spam so that the form keeps working. Lasts 6 months. Google’s use of this cookie is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Announcement preference (local storage, not a cookie). If you close one of our announcement messages, a small setting is saved in your browser so that it is not shown again for up to 30 days. It contains no personal data.
  • WordPress login cookies. Only set for staff who log in to manage the site. They are not set for visitors.

3.2 Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay, roughly where visitors are located and what kind of device they use. This helps us see what is useful and what needs improving. It does not tell us who you are.

  • _ga. Distinguishes one visitor from another using a random identifier. Lasts 2 years.
  • _ga_* (followed by our measurement ID). Keeps track of a browsing session. Lasts 2 years.

Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4, and we have not enabled any advertising features. For details of how Google handles this data see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

3.3 Embedded content

Some pages may include content from other services, for example a video or an online booking calendar. When you open a page with embedded content, that service may set cookies or collect data in the same way as if you had visited it directly. We do not control these cookies. Please check the provider’s own policy, for example Calendly or Google.

4. Your choices

Analytics consent. When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use analytics cookies. You can accept or decline, and the site works the same either way. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. Doing so may stop some parts of this or other websites from working properly. Guidance for common browsers:

Google Analytics opt-out. You can stop Google Analytics on every website you visit by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use change, for example if we add a new service to the site. We will post any changes on this page with an updated date.

6. Contact us
